If you are new to the sport, a veteran, friends on a stag event, a corporate airsoft day out or just looking for something to do then Airsoft Commando will meet your needs and more.
Plan to arrive for 9.30am to book in the safety briefing which will start sharp at 10am.
On arrival you will be met by our instructors/marshall and asked to read and sign a waiver. You will then be kitted out and issued with an airsoft rifle based on a contemporary military grade assault rifle. We use the latest technology inc. the Tippmann M4 rifle!
Everyone, irrespective of experience will then receive a detailed safety and site orientation brief.
Owner players will then get a chance to chronograph under the supervision of our training team.
Airsoft day training for beginners and the 1st skirmish game will start at 10am.
Dependent on player numbers there will be a number of scenario and skirmish games throughout the day. We will stop at 12.30 to 1.30 for a well-earned lunch break.
Tea/coffee, cold drinks, snacks and pre-booked packed lunches will be available so make sure you bring some cash. On Saturdays our site café will be open for cooked lunches.
ENJOY your action-packed Airsoft day.
Top Tips for a Great Airsoft Day Out
We recommend that all players dress appropriately – military/outdoor type clothing is strongly recommended. We also recommend that players wear a military/ hill walking style boot to give better grip and ankle support. You must wear long-sleeved tops. Shorts, slips and flip flops are not deemed as appropriate attire.
We have a limited supply of boots in various sizes and camouflage overalls that can be hired on the day. We also sell a lightweight glove or an armoured glove.
Full face protective masks or goggles will be issued dependent on age of players. Rental players will be issued with sufficient ammo (small white plastic pellets) on arrival.
Walk on players are encouraged to bring their own BB’s.
The on-site shop will stock a limited supply of branded BB’s.
As the vast majority of the games are indoors water proof clothing is a nice to have rather than a necessity.
Lockers are are available, deposit required.
Only pyrotechnic provided and sold by Airsoft Commando can be used on site.
Airsoft skirmish and airsoft scenario games by definition involve and require a reasonable level of fitness.
During the scenario games players may need to represent a casualty or move a casualty.
During night games some players may find the games claustrophobic, especially when simulated smoke is used and flashing lights.
Players will have to ascend, descend numerous stairways and negotiate obstacles and trip hazards in a confined space.
For those new to the sport BB pellets can sting, especially if you are hit at short range. So players should be prepared to leave the site with a few marks and bruises.
We strongly recommend that all players take the necessary measure to protect the area of the mouth as a pellet potentially could chip a tooth.
